R.I.P Agloco

Click Pics Above To View Full Size

It would appear that after 5 weeks of no new posts from Agloco management on their company Blog that Agloco has finally died. What started off as a great idea has been let down (yet again) by poor management. The same management team were behind previous Internet flop AllAdvantage. This raises one real question? Are the guys behind these two companies taking us for a ride? They seem to have got poor management down to a art-form. With just over a year passing since they launched the Viewbar: the 'epitome' of Agloco, this darn thing has just never lived up to expectations. I really do not want to waste too much more time & effort promoting Agloco, instead my last post will be to demote Agloco. Agloco has let all their members down with poor communication, we have all been VERY patient with them. How hard is it to put up a update on the official Agloco blog? Something has gone very wrong with Agloco & I think they are too ashamed/embarrassed to tell us. R.I.P Agloco it was fun while it lasted (kind of)

AGLOCO.COM - My Referrals as of 24th Oct 2007

My referalls have been very erratic recently - Last month I had 1 sign up! This month I have had over 50?.. I can't fathom why this is exactly, but I could do with more of my sign-ups to download the viewbar as this is the key to Agloco's success & as you can see from my referall stats only approx 1-2 people have used the viewbar for over 5 hours (or 10 people using it only very briefly etc. etc.)

AGLOCO UPDATE 16th OCTOBER 2007

All AGLOCO members should have opened their inbox this morning & seen a email from Danny Jorgensen the member coordinator. This was really uplifting & it's good to see that the
AGLOCO model is actually paying off. It also indicates what we should expect in terms of monthly payments just on the basis of 4-5 searched ads a day & just one click from those searches....This is what it read.

"Dear XXXXXX,

Our first data points are in with our
AGLOCO/Ask search system. Average net revenue for AGLOCO per click is already over US$0.20 – the average Member click through rate on ads on the Ask search page - 20% to 25% of the time the ad is clicked on (one ad click for every 4 to 5 searches).

If every AGLOCO Member did 4 to 5 Ask searches a day and they clicked on average just one ad, the revenue generated for the AGLOCO community would be US$6.00 per month per Member. This would be a great start to building revenue for Member distributions.

AGLOCO’s challenge is to get every Member to have the Viewbar open all the time and to use the Ask search box to make their searches.
If you haven’t used the Viewbar to do an Ask search. We implore you to do it now. Member feedback on the Ask search results has been extremely favorable (most Members reporting they rate Ask results as good as Google’s or better.)

If you have had problems with getting a download of the new Viewbar, we added CNET’s Download.com Click here to go to their site to have fast download:

The Company Blog

Also, there is a discussion of the idea of making your
AGLOCO hours salable now. Visit the blog and you can comment on this.

This is really great news for AGLOCO members & non members who were in limbo wondering if it was a good move to join AGLOCO. I think the last two posts on my blog speak volumes...

AGLOCO UPDATE 15th OCTOBER 2007

It's been a while since I last posted on AGLOCO but it was nice to see on the official company blog a
long post answering all the members questions that have arised over the last few months.

The lengthy & detailed post covers the following subjects:

  • THE PAYMENT PLAN
  • CAN PAYMENTS BE SPED UP?
  • SHOULD AGLOCO BORROW MONEY TO PAY ITS MEMBERS?
  • TRADEABLE HOURS?
  • TRADEABLE HOURS VS OWNERSHIP
  • WHERE DID THE $100,000 GO FOR JUNE, JULY & AUGUST
  • DO MEMBERS HAVE TO BUY THINGS FOR AGLOCO TO SUCCEED?
  • AGLOCO WEBSITE ISSUES
  • BETA VIEWBAR?
  • 17 AD NETWORKS?
  • ADS FOR THE VIEWBAR IN INDIA?
  • TECH QUESTIONS THAT GO UNASNWERED?
  • WHAT CAN YOU DO TO HELP?
  • COMMENTS ON THE AGLOCO BLOG

Here is the post in full (Posted Oct 12th):

"First – for those of you who have given some thoughtful ideas, questions and opinions on our posts during the last two weeks – thank you.

At this point, we would like to give some feedback on some of the ideas and thoughts given.

Is the payment plan posted last month a permanent plan? No – as noted in a comment we made this is a plan we wanted to implement now to show Members that even though AGLOCO is currently losing money the hours they are putting in now would be compensated. Our website states that we will make no distributions until profitable. We could have considered a plan that the June, July, and August hours would be paid zero since no profits were forthcoming. We felt that would be an unfair plan to those Members who were supporting AGLOCO in its startup period. That is the purpose of this initial plan.

Can the payments be sped up? Of course they could – although the idea we were considering was making additional ‘bonus’ payments to the early hours (June, July, August, etc 2007 hours) when and if additional funds became available.

Should AGLOCO borrow money to pay Members? We believe this would be a critical error for AGLOCO. Giving out money that it was not earning was the downfall of AllAdvantage and we believe that spending only what AGLOCO makes is the best course for long term stability.

Why have tradable hours? A number of Members have asked about doing this and we looked into it. It seemed like a possible good solution for those Members who had joined now, but were not wanting to wait for AGLOCO to mature to reap some benefits. Getting ownership to Members will be a costly process which would done on a country by country basis. We had hoped to be over 10,000,000 AGLOCO Members at this point to help spread those costs. At a bit over one million Members, AGLOCO is not yet big enough to justify the costs (instead of Member distributions we would have lawyers’ bills.)

By having hours that have a potential residual income stream plus potential quarterly or annual bonus distributions coming in, we felt that these hours would have tradable value today which Members wanting to sell could realize. In this way Members wanting cash now could get it and Members wanting more of AGLOCO’s future could also get it. That is how the tradability of hours relates to the bonus payments and residual payments in this initial distribution plan.

Tradable hours versus ownership? It is not possible to have the AGLOCO hours (or accounts) tradable/salable and still have the potential plan for those hours being used directly in AGLOCO future ownership system (creates a potential securities law conflict). That is why we have asked for feedback on this issue as there have so many requests to make hours tradable. If hours did become salable now and we ended up not using hours in the future for ownership, we would need to develop a new method of giving the ownership of AGLOCO to Members as the Management Company is fully committed that AGLOCO Members get the economic benefits of AGLOCO (and the Management Company gets their 10%). We believe it is this division of economics that is the core of why AGLOCO is a good long term company for Members. – All of this does not mean that in a year or so that we could not use all of the hours to distribute ownership, it just severs any connection at this time.

Where did the $100,000 go in June, July and August? During those June, July and August AGLOCO’s biggest monthly costs were $15,000 to $20,000 in monthly server, bandwidth etc. costs – $15,000 to $25,000 a month for the tech team in Shanghai – and $2,000 a month for the Member Service team in the Philippines (Plus about $1,000 a month in other costs.)

One million Members? Yes AGLOCO has over one million verified Members – with over 350,000 downloads and with over 250,000 Viewbars having been used more than the five hours credit limit

Do Members have to buy things for AGLOCO to succeed? In every economic system trade must occur or it will fail. AGLOCO is no exception. Companies will not want to partner with (or advertise with) AGLOCO if it is not profitable for them. So they will measure the results of their partnering/advertising with AGLOCO and if it is not profitable they will stop. This is one of the great things about Google, Yahoo, Ask etc. Ads on their systems work. People click on some of the ads and then some of them go on to buy. This will also be true for AGLOCO. While no individual Member need be a specific buyer, as a group the AGLOCO Membership needs to be worth advertising to in order for AGLOCO to succeed.

Website? We know it needs work and we know it can take only minutes. Our chief problem here is that in June we used our website editing server to help stabilize the website and we have not had time to install a new editing server. This means all edits must be done by the tech team in Shanghai and we have not wanted to break them from the more revenue generating tasks mainly integrating Ask.com. A project which is still occupying them full time. We hope to rectify this soon.

Beta Viewbar? The Viewbar we are all using is an early version. We are using the beta term to signify that we have a great deal of work left to do on the Viewbar before we feel it is of production quality. It will probably be in beta for another 12 to 18 months at least. Essentially, all of AGLOCO is in Beta right now as we all learn the realities of what can be done and how to do it.

17 ad networks? Prior to the first download of the Viewbar we had an agreement with a third party to supply AGLOCO from 17 ad networks. While working with the tech team to implement this system it became apparent that the third party would not be able to deliver on their promise. We then came up with two networks to use and an ad server system that did not have targeting ability in order to launch the Viewbar. The Ask.com deal is a significant step forward on that front.

Ads for the Viewbars in India? While Ask.com covers searching in India, we have had trouble interesting an ad network for Viewbar ads for our Indian Members. A few weeks ago Tyroo and AGLOCO were unable to reach an agreement to supply ads in India. (While we are committed to working on a Win98 Viewbar, having a local Indian ad network would help move it up on the priority list for the tech team. If any Indian Member has good connections at an Indian ad network we could use a good introduction there. Use email partners@agloco.com to help make contact.)

Tech questions that go unanswered? Members sometimes post technical questions. Unless this is a widespread problem we usually do not respond to these in the blog. They are best sent to Member services at help@agloco.com. Most often we can not ‘fix’ an individual Member’s tech problem because unless it effects many Members and unless there are a couple of good data points to find out the source of the problem, it is currently too expensive for AGLOCO to try to have a tech person work on a single problem at this point. Some other tech problems which do effect multiple Members are on the correction list; like the ads in the Viewbar not rotating for all users, which is a combination browser and ad server problem. We worked hard to fix this at the server lever and did fix some of the problem (this is a third-party ad server – not ours) Since we knew we would be changing ad servers within a couple of months we decided to focus resources on the Ask.com needs instead of working more on an ‘old’/existing ad server – which we do not even own.

What can you do to help? While we do not have any results from Ask.com yet, we are hopeful that revenue from Ask will put AGLOCO on a stable footing, allowing both distributions and service expansion. We believe that AGLOCO’s active Membership is one of AGLOCO’s biggest strengths. At this point, we hope to start to take real advantage of this strength with some of the revenue from the Ask.com deal. If you are interested in getting more involved and helping to build the company we would like to know. (There were some comments in the blog about setting up a forum and having moderators for example). We are sure some AGLOCO Members could make contributions to the Viewbar, the website, revenue improvements and other operations. Use the partners@agloco.com address if you are interested. Please indicate any area of interest and any expertise you have – like software engineer.

People making nonsense comments on this blog? By most standards AGLOCO has a very open blog comment policy. When we see spam comments, repetitive comments, rude comments as well as spotting comments with offensive language, we try to delete them. We probably leave too many comments on the blog, but we have felt that even though some of the negative statements are untrue or gross exaggerations – sometimes some of the positive ones are as well. For the most part we see comments as people’s opinions and we try not to edit them.

Downloading the Viewbar – We have commented in the past that we were having trouble with Tucows working, We have added the ability to download at CNET’s Download.com Here is a link to that:

http://www.download.com/Viewbar/3000-2381-10753362.html?part=dl-Viewbar&subj=uo&tag=button

This will be changed on the website when we get to all those projects.

Thanks for all of your efforts for AGLOCO."

AGLOCO UPDATE 1st September 2007

This morning I received the following email from AGLOCO detailing the updates that have been preformed & also what is happening with the ad revenue etc.

All AGLOCO members should have received the following email today:

"Dear XXXXXX,

Viewbar – We continue to be pleased with Member activation of the
AGLOCO Viewbar. To download your Viewbar click here. (Goes to tucows.com download site.)Revenue – We are excited that we have signed one of our major revenue partnerships for North America last week. We will be making the formal announcement later. Getting a major company to work with their own internal system to start to take advantage of the Viewbar’s capabilities is very exciting to us. It will take our partner’s tech team 3 to 5 weeks to complete their work, so you should see changes occurring after that time. We are still looking for meaningful partners in Europe and Asia. If any of you works in an ad network company, please contact us at
partners@AGLOCO.com to see if we can work on a partnership.Tech Update The tech team reported that our move to new servers was completed last week. Early reports are faster downloading for most locations. Also, all Member accounts have been updated for total hours accumulated. To check your account Click here. Media – We have received a lot of positive emails about Mike Klingler’s interview with Brian Greenwald. In it, Brian talked about the
AGLOCO Vision and he answered some questions about the company’s current progress and trajectory. Mike and other Members have worked to make this available to all Members at: Click here to listen to the interview. Click here for written transcript Member distributions – If you missed the
AGLOCO blog post on this, you can read it at Member distributions. Thanks for all of your efforts for AGLOCO

AGLOCO UPDATE 23rd August 2007

As of today when I logged into my AGLOCO I was pleased to see that the Tech-Team have finally fixed my total hours & updated all my referalls surf time. Big thanks to the AGLOCO tech-team for doing this as it has put my mind at rest at last! - It looks like things are really moving at a good pace now & we can all now look forward to getting paid or at least some updates as to when this is likely to be.

Here is the last AGLOCO post from the official company blog:

August 21, 2007 @ 10:51 am

"Quick update – Tech team is working on hours in the account page right now. Some of you may see double July hours temporarily – while not a bad bonus for loyalty, we will be correcting to actual hours"

Saturday 18 August 2007

AGLOCO.COM - My Referrals as of 18th August 2007

Due to some issues at Agloco regarding servers my hours are short of what they should be
& I have put no effort into referring others other than my blog & link exchanges, so 22 new members for August was quite good by my own personal standards!...

Friday 17 August 2007

AGLOCO UPDATE 17th August 2007

Things are looking like they are moving along nicely now, the server transfer has now been completed...

"Friday update – Good news. The server transfers went forward over the last 12 hours. If you can not reach the site right now, you should be able to shortly. You may notice the first time you reach the new servers it loads more slowly. This speed should increase the second time.
We have a list of projects that we can now attend to including: correcting the hour display in the account pages – so that it shows July hours; update the website information; send update email to Members; implement new ad revenue agreements."

Thursday 16 August 2007

AGLOCO UPDATE 16th August 2007

Another update from the AGLOCO Compaany Blog. Apparently things are rolling a bit now & the communication regarding the server switches has been greatly improved. Thanks AGLOCO & keeps us all posted with any new developments!...

"Thursday update (16th August)– The site was up and down a bit the last 12 hours. This was not the move (two of the servers still not balancing). The tech team is still pushing for the move during the next 24 hours. This means you should see that the AGLOCO site is down. The time the site is down will depend on where in the world you are accessing the internet from.
As mentioned previously, other projects such as hours, email and page updates will occur after the server moves.

Thank you"

Second Update for 16th August:

"Thursday/Friday update
Site is currently being moved (page noting this is now on the agloco.com page). When it is completed we will give an update on that and then continued progress.

- Thanks"

Wednesday 15 August 2007

AGLOCO UPDATE 15th August 2007

Here's a update regarding the switch to the new servers from the official AGLOCO blog, which was posted today (15th Aug)

"Wednesday update – Some site work was completed last night. The tech plan for the next 24-36 hours calls for some more server transfers. This may mean you will see that the AGLOCO site is down. The time the site is down will depend on where in the world you are accessing the internet from.
All projects such as hours, email and page updates will cascade from the server moves.
Thanks You"

AGLOCO UPDATE 13th August 2007

I have just seen a recent post on the official AGLOCO blog by the AGLOCO team regarding the AGLOCO servers & a possible date when we should all see hours for June, July & August. The post reads:

"Monday update (13th August) We have been testing the new servers for the last three days – they have stayed up consistently. The new servers have the new database which has all of the June, July and August hours. In our tests this is working fine. We hope there are no problems when we do the switch over. We tried Friday, but load system failed again, so the AGLOCO site is still on old servers. We will try to switch again this week."

AGLOCO Update 10th August 2007

As you can see for my surfed hours, I am 5 hours short of what it should be on (15) apparently the tech team at Agloco should have this fixed today. Here is a qoute from the official company Blog:

"AGLOCO Official said, August 9, 2007 @ 10:48 am
Quick update – August fix was implemented on database last night – June hours should be added back this evening. If we get an update on this we will post it here. ”

AGLOCO UPDATE 4th August 2007

Just thought I'd bring you the latest entry from the Official Agloco Blog (the 1st since July 18th!)

Revenue:

"We are near completion with one of two improved revenue agreements. These should be implemented in August. They should greatly enhance September’s revenue in search and North American ad revenue. We are also in negotiations with one European network, to improve revenue there. We are in need of better networks in China, Brazil, India, Korea and Japan. We also need a network in the Middle East. If any Member has any leads on those, please post your ideas in the comment section"

Tech Update:

"The tech team reported that the fix to the August hours will be occurring on Thursday the 9th. Until that time the display will not show correct August hours. The last three weeks have consumed our tech team with server improvements – this did not go as the team had anticipated with load balancing problems at the ISP. This should be resolved shortly and they can get back to the other pressing needs of AGLOCO. As we change to improved servers the AGLOCO website will be down for a period of time (the amount of time will depend on where in the world the Member is that is trying to reach the site). People will see a notice page saying we are doing maintenance. Projects like updating the website and emails to all Members will then be attended to"

Some members may have noticed that their surfed hours for August are still frozen on last months hours. Apparently if you read the tech update above this is to do with server updates/improvements. There is still no concrete evidence of when Agloco members are going to be actually paid. If anyone knows anything more regarding this please let me know! I'm sure were all starting to wonder when we are going to get paid as some of you have been referring for over a year now, I only started in April & already getting impatient, but hey, that's just me! I'm sure Agloco have many contracts with advertisers & search engines to tie up before they can start pay-outs to it's members. All good things come to those who wait they say. So let's just wait & see....

When & How Will We Be Paid By AGLOCO?

Ok, so we have all gone hell for leather to try & get referalls for AGLOCO but the real question on everones lips is "When will we get paid?"

Here are some answers from the official AGLOCO Blog:

When are the cash payouts going to begin?

The simple answer is that it depends on “when AGLOCO makes enough money to both pay Members and be a sustainable business”. But, by using the Viewbar you are accumulating credit towards the cash payments right now (more on that below). I have spoken about this on the blog twice before:

Also, as some Members have correctly pointed out, AGLOCO’s early revenue will not immediately translate into cash distributions to Members. While we do not know how large our initial revenue will be, we do know that AGLOCO has operating costs to pay. It is important to remember that AGLOCO is not a “get rich quick scheme”, and we maintain that the most prudent way to build AGLOCO as a sustainable company is to calibrate Member distributions to company earnings. As such, the cash payouts will not begin until there is a comfortable balance between AGLOCO’s free cash flow and AGLOCO’s expenses. It is important to add that all Members will begin to accumulate hours from when they first start using the Viewbar (and referral hours will also be earned). Those hours will not be wasted. Both overall hours and monthly hours will be used in determining distributions to Members.

Cash Distributions: To be a sustainable entity in the long term, AGLOCO makes Member cash distributions from its positive cash flow (revenue minus costs). Therefore, please do not expect a check after the first couple of months as it will take time to collect revenue from advertisers and this revenue must exceed costs in order to make cash distributions to Members. We will be keeping Members informed of our financial status, and you can visit the Official company blog at http://blog.agloco.com/ for the latest updates.

AGLOCO will be keeping Members informed of our financials (after a few months, when we start getting realistic numbers) so they can track our progress on this. At this point, if our new ad system is operational in August, we should be able to give meaningful numbers for September.

How are you going to pay me if you don’t have any of my payment information?

Before the cash payments begin we will verify your billing information and ask you to specify how you would like to be paid. We currently plan to have several forms of payment available, including check, direct deposit, and PayPal. Remember that only one account per Member is allowed.

Is there going to be a “minimum” payout level achieved in my account like many affiliate programs have?

Yes, a minimum will be required to keep transfer costs down. All sums not distributed are accumulated in the Member’s AGLOCO account until the minimum is reached.
How are the cash payments going to work?

So, here are three of the potential ways AGLOCO can pay Members. As you know, when you use the Viewbar you accumulate hours (currently up to 5 hours/month, and plus a credit of referral hours at a 25% rate). These hours, both your monthly totals and your overall accumulated hours, are the basis for cash distributions.

Monthy Viewbar hours: Based on the hours you and your referrals surf each month, you will get a share of the “distribution pie”. Your share is equal to your percentage of the total hours accumulated by all Members (including referral hours). How would this work? Here is a hypothetical example. Suppose in a given month AGLOCO distributes $100,000 for that month’s hour accumulation. Also suppose that the total hours all Members have accumulated that month is 1,000,000 hours. This means that AGLOCO would pay $0.10 for each hour you are credited with that month. So in this example if you had accumulated (yourself plus referrals) 500 hours that month, you would be paid $50 (£25)

Total Viewbar hours: AGLOCO may also pay in the same manner as above based on total accumulated hours. This would “weight” the payment more towards those Members who joined and began accumulating hours earlier (including the time before the cash payouts have begun).
AGLOCO buying Hours for Cash: Here’s how it would work. AGLOCO would set a price per hour (say, $0.15), (8p) and we allow Members to sell their hours back to us at that rate. There would likely be a minimum number of hours you could sell. For instance, AGLOCO may only allow you to sell in 100-hour blocks. Hours that you sell would be deducted from your total accumulated hours for future distributions.

I realize that I have not given a concrete answer to “what an hour is worth”, “what a referral is worth”, or “the date you will be paid”. I wish I could. But, I maintain that to keep AGLOCO a sustainable venture, we must calibrate cash payouts to our actual positive cash flow, lest we suffer the same fate as AllAdvantage.

AGLOCO.COM - What is all the fuss about? Tell me more....

How do I earn money from surfing the net? Is this for real??..

You might already know that almost everything you do on the Internet makes money for someone else. And that’s not just when you spend money. Just about every time you view an ad, click an ad, search, buy something, download something, join a community, or post a story, picture, or video, some person or some company is making a fee, commission, and/or sale from your internet activity.

How it works...

If you want to join as a Member, you download a piece of software called the Viewbar. It’s like a toolbar that sits at the bottom of your desktop, and is AVAILABLE NOW. Essentially, it collects on your behalf some of the revenue you would usually generate for other people while you conduct your everyday browsing. Then, it returns most of this money to you.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

PLEASE NOTE: YOU NEED TO SIGN UP BEFORE DOWNLOADING THE TOOLBAR (SPAM & POP UP FREE)

CLICK HERE TO START EARNING REAL CASH FROM AGLOCO

Why it works...

Why does this work?? You win because you now get your share of the money for doing what you would normally do. AGLOCO management wins by keeping a 10% cut of this revenue (like Brad Pitt pays his agent a 10% fee). And the companies win, since they get your business. All you need to do is have the Viewbar up on your screen while browsing the Internet like normal.

Why does AGLOCO us a referral system?..

The most valuable part of AGLOCO is its Members. By referring others to AGLOCO, you provide them with value and for that, AGLOCO thinks you should get some of that value you provide.
It makes sense. Think about YouTube. The first, most active users were on the site when the software was buggy and there were few videos available, but their Membership (and referrals to others) is what made the site a success. When it was sold for $1.65 billion, how much of that did these first users see? Nothing. With the AGLOCO referral system, Members get more for building the network.

Where AGLOCO makes money...

There are a whole bunch of ways AGLOCO makes money on behalf of Members. Here are just a few quick examples.
First of all, the Viewbar has a search function you can use to search yahoo, google, etc. Every time you use this search bar, the AGLOCO community makes money.
Second, the Viewbar has space for a text-only ad (no loud, flashing banners – just unobtrusive text). These ads make money for the AGLOCO community.
Third, AGLOCO has affiliate programs with a number of online retailers. Buy from one of these sites and AGLOCO makes money.

How much will I get paid?..

Sometimes Free is too Expensive...

The cost of recruiting new users to AGLOCO can vary. For many users it is simply sending an email to friends or contacts – or talking to them directly. For others it is blog postings or website notices and for some users paid ads on search engines. The privacy and anti-spam policies of AGLOCO and the track record on these issues of Ray Everett-Church (AGLOCO’s Chief Privacy Officer) makes the risk of getting spam, pop ups and other trash as a user a non issue.
In general, given the low level of work needed to recruit new users to AGLOCO and the zero cost in terms of money, the cost/benefit ratio of recruiting new users to AGLOCO seems to be highly favorable. Because there is no limit as to the number of referrals a user can recruit, the upper end on this opportunity could be high (which means it can be worth putting in the effort to promote actively). This analysis was done two weeks after AGLOCO launched and there have been user postings noting referral networks of 4,000 and 5,000 already. At $30 value each this would be $120,000 (£60,000) to $150,000 (£75,000) so far, which means AGLOCO could make some serious recruiting users a high return on their efforts.

Referral Example:

A user recruits ten people (10 direct referrals) – If on average, each direct referral recruits 3 new users (some will recruit many and some none, but the average is 3 for each level of your network) -- Value of 10 referrals $300 (£150) The user would have 30 indirect users one person removed. – Value of 30 referrals $900 (£450)The user would have 90 indirect users two people removed -- Value of 90 referrals $2,700 (£1350)The user would have 270 indirect users three people removed -- Value of 270 referrals $8,100 (£4050)The user would have 810 indirect users four people removed -- Value of 810 referrals $24,300 (£12150)Total referrals the user would have in the network would be 1,210.
At an average value of $30 (£15) for each referral the total value would be $36,300 (£18150)It should be noted that the AGLOCO referral system achieves two tasks:
AGLOCO saves all the costs of marketing its services to potential new users. This is sometimes a major cost many Internet companies face. Other network companies like MySpace, Skype and YouTube also achieve this goal of users telling users, but in those cases users do not benefit in the value created by the growth of the user base. Users who help build the AGLOCO network are financially rewarded for doing so. Because most the value of network oriented companies is based on the size of the network, it is AGLOCO’s stated goal that the people building the network share in the value they help create.

When are the cash payouts going to begin?

The simple answer is that it depends on “when AGLOCO makes enough money to both pay Members and be a sustainable business”. But, by using the Viewbar you are accumulating credit towards the cash payments right now.
We will be keeping Members informed of our financials and you can visit the Official company blog at http://blog.agloco.com/ for the latest updates.

So in this example if you had accumulated (yourself plus referrals) 500 hours that month, you would be paid $50.
AGLOCO would set a price per hour (say, $0.15), and we allow Members to sell their hours back to us at that rate.
Ken Kuester made a great comment reflecting this a few weeks ago. He said:For all of you that are asking for calculations for how much pay, just consider this. There is truly no way anyone can calculate with all variables. The pay is dependent upon the advertisers paying agloco, the search engines paying agloco, the merchants paying agloco the commissions on the sales to agloco members, and any other sources of income. This money all goes into a pool, of which agloco management gets 10% and the rest is divided among the owners/members. There you have it. income is variable, percentages for management and the owners ia fixed. membership is variable. These variable parts will change by the minute. No reasonable mathmatician will attempt to arrive at meaningful calculations with two massive variables and one fixed quantity. All the mathmatician can do at this point is offer statistical possibilities. In the short view, every person you sponsor now cuts down on the value of the cash pool individually. In the longer term, more members means agloco can charge more for the ads and make the cash pool larger. As far as clicking the ads, That will create cash pool money when the few make purchases and the merchant pays agloco the commission on the sale. In at least some cases, the member will immediately benefit from any discounts that are given to the agloco membership. Regards searches, I do not know what deal agloco has with google or the other search engines at this time, but I do know that as the membership goes up, so does the price google and the others will pay agloco for each search performed. Google currently pays aol 10 cents per search performed. Best I can tell you is the per hour pay will fall into a range somewhere between .00001 cents and 1,000.00 dollars per hour.( both top and bottom values estimated with the fact that everyone is so desparate for promises that poor Brian cannot say anything without it being considered a set in concrete promise.) I intentionally used extremes. Try to keep your shirt on and wait and see what materializes.

Wait a second, what about “shares”?

Our website talks about paying Members in “cash and shares”. As I’ve said before, I need to stay away from talking about “shares” in this blog. The lawyers would kill me if I went anywhere near talking about it because it is too easy to unwittingly violate a country’s securities laws.
AGLOCO is not a “get rich quick” scheme and never will be. By steadily using the Viewbar and building a sustainable business, we can make sure that Members will get distributions for years and years as we improve the usefulness of the Viewbar as a part of each Member’s desktop.
